A quick reference to how Minnesota law generally treats manufactured home park lot tenancies. Minnesota has a strong dedicated law — the Manufactured Home Park Lot Rentals act, Minn. Stat. Chapter 327C. This is general information, not legal advice, and the authors are not lawyers — for a specific situation, consider consulting a licensed attorney in Minnesota. Each line cites the controlling statute; read it at the official source linked in Sources below.

How to use this

This sheet summarizes; it does not replace the statute or legal advice. Chapter 327C cannot be waived — "any attempt to waive or circumscribe any privilege or right guaranteed by law to a resident or a park owner is void" (§327C.02, subd. 4) — and the law "may also be enforced by the Minnesota Attorney General." Start with the written rental agreement, the park rules, and the notice of rights, then check the controlling section.
