State agencies

• Alabama Department of Revenue — Motor Vehicle Division — issues the certificate of title for a manufactured home and administers manufactured home registration (Ala. Code title 32, ch. 20; §40-12-255).
• Alabama Manufactured Housing Commission — licenses manufacturers, dealers, and installers and oversees installation and HUD-code enforcement.
• Alabama Public Service Commission — regulates jurisdictional electric, gas, and water utility service and rates.

Local offices
