State agencies
- Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) — issues and transfers the certificate of title for a mobile home and handles a home that is permanently installed or converted to real property.
- Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) — administers the State's building and manufactured-housing codes and receives notice when a mobile home park is sold (Real Property §8A-202(h)).
- Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation (SDAT) — assesses real property and works with county finance offices on the local mobile home tax.
