State agencies
- Michigan Dept. of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) — Manufactured Housing — home of the Manufactured Housing Commission, which licenses mobile home parks, dealers, and installers and promulgates the mobile home code.
- Michigan Secretary of State — issues and transfers the certificate of title for a mobile home and processes the affidavit of affixture when a home becomes part of the real property.
- Michigan Public Service Commission — regulates electric, gas, and water utilities and their rates, and receives water utility tariff referrals under the Mobile Home Commission Act.
- Michigan Dept. of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) — oversees water supply and sewage systems serving mobile home parks.
