State agencies
- New Jersey Department of Community Affairs — Division of Codes and Standards — regulates and inspects mobile home parks and oversees manufactured-housing standards; publishes a mobile home park legal-rights overview.
- New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission — issues and transfers the certificate of ownership for a mobile or manufactured home.
