State agencies
- New Mexico Manufactured Housing Division (Regulation & Licensing Department) — licenses manufacturers, dealers, and installers, oversees installation, and takes complaints (Manufactured Housing Act, NMSA 1978 ch. 60, art. 14).
- New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division (Taxation & Revenue Department) — issues the certificate of title for a manufactured home and handles title deactivation.
- New Mexico Taxation & Revenue Department — administers the property-tax framework that the counties apply to manufactured homes.
- New Mexico Public Regulation Commission — regulates jurisdictional electric, gas, and water utility service and rates.
