This is a directory of government agencies and vetted nonprofit organizations that help mobile and manufactured home residents in Utah. State agencies

• Utah Division of Motor Vehicles — Mobile and Manufactured Homes — titles and registers mobile and manufactured homes and processes affidavits of affixture (Utah Code Title 41, Chapter 1a; Title 70D, Chapter 2).
• Utah State Tax Commission — oversees the property-tax framework that the counties apply to manufactured homes.
• Utah Division of Consumer Protection — takes consumer complaints and provides consumer resources.
• Utah Public Service Commission — regulates jurisdictional electric, gas, and water utility service and rates.

County offices

• County recorder — records the affidavit of affixture when a home is converted to real property (Utah Code §70D-2-401). County assessor and treasurer — assess and collect property tax on the home. Find these through your county government's website.

Federal

• HUD — Utah — HUD's Utah hub, including how to find a HUD-approved housing counselor.
• HUD — Office of Manufactured Housing Programs — the federal office responsible for the manufactured home construction and safety standards (the HUD Code).

• Utah Courts — Self-Help Center — the state judiciary's self-help resources, including landlord-tenant and eviction information and court forms.
